1. Verify the Facebook page you are running ads on.
You can do this just by going to your page settings then it will give you the ability to upload a document to show proof of business or identity.
Once you're verified (usually takes 24hrs) your page is going to rank higher, your ads will now show your page as being verified, the algorithm will see your page as more trustworthy and you will get more engagement and reach on your ads all from just verifying your page.
2. Invite everyone who engaged with your ads to like your Facebook page.
You can do this by going to settings in the top left of your business manager then selecting page posts then it will pull up a list of ads you ran in the past. You can then select the ad then click on ad post likes and invite every person who liked your ad to like your page.
This alone will increase your following substantially, grow your engagement, and improve your ad performance as when people visit your page from your ad they will see the page has active people engaging with it and that your page has a lot of people following it.
3. Remove “ANGRY” face reactions on your ads.
Anytime someone puts an "ANGRY" 😡face as the reaction on your ad it can lower your ads performance.
So to fix that all you have to do is just give your own ad a "WOW" 😯face reaction and it will cover up anyone who put the negative angry face as a reaction on your ad. This helps improve your conversions.
4. On your page settings, you can apply filters that automatically block negative comments.
You just type in every phrase and negative keywords you want into your page filters. You access this by going to your page settings and selecting filters. Once setup people won't see any comments with the negative keywords you type in.
So this is going to save you from manually hiding or removing people that put negative comments on your ads and improve your conversions as there a little to no negative comments on your ads.
5. Only able to create 1, 3, or 5 ad accounts?
If you want to get more ad accounts then you need to max them out right now by creating all of them. Doing this prior to you actually needing them is going to save you time in the future whenever you actually require to have more than the number of current ad accounts you have.
You will have plenty of ad accounts to use once the expand your limit. More than likely they will give you 15-30 to start with and it keeps going up from there.
6. Apply ad account budgets, not campaign budgets.
Whenever you have a set budget to work with the best way to not spend more than your set budget and to not hinder your results from capping your campaign budgets is to simply go to your ad account finance editor where you change the ad account credit card and below the credit card option you will see an area to apply an ad account budget. Just click apply and type in your ad account budget.
This will save you from having to worry about going past budget or an individual campaign from turning off when it is performing very well.
7. Get admin access to your page or your client's page asap.
The sooner you get admin the sooner you will be able to verify a page. The way you do this is by getting admin access and then you just have to wait 15 days and then in the page settings an option will populate for you which will allow you to verify the page.
This is going to save you period. Getting verified is just one of those important things.
8. Turn on Auto-Advanced Matching.
You can do this by going to settings in the top left of your business manager then selecting pixels then it will pull up a list of pixels you currently have so click on the one you use. You can then select details on the pixel then select settings within the pixel. You then will be able to turn on Auto-Advanced matching.
What Auto-Advanced Matching will do is automatically match every person who goes to your website on a 1-to-1 level. Meaning your pixel is now going to give you more qualified insights and which will greatly improve your lookalike audiences as your audience quality automatically will increase since the pixel will now be extracting a lot more data about your site visitors.
This will also make your retargeting campaigns extremely accurate, increasing the relevance of your ads and helping you convert more people from your ads.
9. Turn on Pixel First-Party Cookie Access.
You can do this by going to settings in the top left of your business manager then selecting pixels then it will pull up a list of pixels you currently have so click on the one you use. You can then select details on the pixel then select settings within the pixel. You will then be able to turn on first-party cookies.
Once First-Party Cookie Access is turned on it will now give your pixel access to the data, analytics, and insights that the browsers and devices automatically store. So your pixel can start using that information and data to improve your audience, your ad relevance, and campaign performance.
Your pixel will also become even more advanced at optimizing and testing your audiences and ads for you. Which leads to better results.
10. Track website events automatically without code.
You can do this by going to settings in the top left of your business manager then selecting pixels then it will pull up a list of pixels you currently have so click on the one you use. You can then select details on the pixel then select settings within the pixel. You will then be able to turn on automatic website event tracking without having to place pixel codes on your website.
This alone is going to allow your pixel to automatically create conversions and potential audiences for you by mapping out your website and funnel from the events people take on your website. This is going to give you a lot more custom/lookalike audience options and is going to allow your pixel to learn a lot more about your website and customers which directly leads to an improvement in your results because your pixel will just keep getting smarter and smarter.

These are just a few small ways you can improve your overall ad performance without having to spend much time at all. And it does not require you to come up with the next greatest ad.
