Hey everyone, using this value optimization strategy will lead you to get a way higher return on ad spend (ROAS) period...
A value optimization strategy is strictly focused on getting more conversions at a higher return on ad spend...
Not only that but using value optimization gives the controls over to the Facebook pixel which is able to tell the difference between higher-value conversions and lower-value conversions...
It then prioritizes higher-value conversions, which can lead to you getting a better return on ad spend (ROAS).
It's literally that simple... But nobody ever talks about these things...
And optimizing for value might lead to a higher average cost per result but it will also lead to a higher return on ad spend. So it's actually much more effective at generating you higher returns.
For instance, if you use a standard purchase conversion optimization strategy it could cost you $1 to make $2. Which is a ROAS of 2X.
Now, if you use Value optimization you might pay more per conversion like $3 to make $12. But that's a ROAS of 4X which is literally double the return of the standard conversion optimization even despite it having a lower cost result.
So even though your cost per result may increase with value optimization...
It really doesn't matter because your ROAS is so much higher.
Yielding you even larger returns than ever before...
So here is how to use a value optimization strategy...
You'll need to first make sure you have these things in place...
1. Have an active Facebook Pixel
2. Have an active Facebook Pixel with purchase events
3. Have a pixel that has gotten at least 100+ purchases
Once you meet those requirements you'll be able to use value optimization...
Just go to create an ad set choose 'purchase conversions' then select the bid strategy to be 'value-optimization'.
That's it then you'll be able to let the pixel and your ad sets target and go after larger ROASs for you...
Leading to even greater returns than before...
And if you want to make value optimization strategy even more effective you could combine that with an audience that is value-based!
For example:
• 1% lookalike based on highest purchase conversion value
• 1% lookalike based on highest lifetime purchase conversion value
• 1% lookalike based on most frequent purchasers
Combining those audiences with the value optimization bid strategy will have an astronomical impact on you getting a higher return on investment.
Remember that this type of optimization is about finding the purchase conversions that get you the most revenue (within the constraint of your budget), not finding the cheapest purchase conversions.
If you're still not sure if value optimization is right for you, you could think of it as a choice between having a 'lower average cost per result' or having a 'higher average return on ad spend'.
And if your still not sure how to implement a system that generates you successful ROIs and ROASs every single day of the month...
